Adele is pregnant

It has just been announced on Twitter that singer Adele is pregnant. Pal Lily Allen tweeted to say: 

"Wow. Adeles preggers ! Congratumalations to her and Simon !" (sic)

I reckon all the drama and excitement that goes with pregnancy and childbirth should give her some good fuel for the next album.

Never mind I'll find a babysitter for yoooouuuuu....

It was battle of the bimbo's on Twitter yesterday when Nicola McLean and Imogen Thomas went to war.

The row started when Nicola posted a picture of Imogen from a magazine which had the headline: "How to cope with attention seekers."

Imogen hit back with: "I actually think this Nicola Mclean woman is obsessed with me. U are one BIG BULLY. Pls grow up and leave me alone. Sad little troll." (sic)

Nicola replied: "Someone needs to chill hardly bullying???? Another way of getting a attention????" (sic)

Back to Imogen: "Mayb Nicola Mclean needs 2b educated on whats on the news these days&why ppl commit suicide. Cyber Bullying is nasty & I will not tolerate it" (sic)

I think they could both do with some educating to be honest...

Amy Childs has a new boyfriend and it's a former contestant from ITV's Take Me Out. I think these two could be quite well suited, they're both orange, and er, they have both been on TV?? Interview in OK magazine next week, betcha'.

Big Brother watch

Big Brother has come under fire once again and this time it's for letting a housemate 'get away' with making what could have been interpreted as a racist comment.

In last nights show posh-girl Caroline hit out at fellow housemate Adam and described him as a 'ridiculous gorilla' during a rant to posh-wannabe Scott.

Big Brother called Caroline into the diary room to remind her of the rules and to warn her that her comments could have been offensive...

Am I the only person who thinks she has got off VERY LIGHTLY in comparison to poor old Jade Goody who made a very similar mistake on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2005?

Jade was forced to leave the house to an extremely frosty reception with no crowd and was then interrogated by a not-so-friendly-as-usual Davina McCall.

I'm not condoning what Jade said at the time in any way. BUT I don't believe it was meant in a racist way, as with Caroline's remark, but why should Caroline get off scott-free?

Chantelle and Alex baby joy

Congratulations to Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid who have had a baby girl. The couple seem to be very much together in their latest interview so that's hopeful. I do wonder whether the fact that they 'haven't decided on a name yet' might mean they're just waiting till next week to do another 'exclusive' interview in which to reveal it? I really hope that whatever they do decide on it's not something daft, mind you if Alex Reid has anything to do with it (which I'd imagine he probably has) then it really could be anything!

Talking of new mums Stacey Soloman's hit the headlines after she was papped enjoying a night out in Essex after giving birth to her second son Leighton only a month ago. Whilst pregnant Stacey caused outrage when she was pictured smoking so I don't think this new publicity is going to help improve her already slightly dented reputation...


Oh and I can't believe Stacey is only 22?!

I hope she's not under the influence whilst driving that vehicle!

Big Brother watch

There seems to be some controversy surrounding the rules on Big Brother this week.


The show has been accused of ignoring Housemates who used secret code to discuss nominations AND for not taking bullying seriously enough in relation to Connor's comments about Deana last night.


With regards to the discussion of nominations, yes, this is against the rules but just last week they were all free to do it so although they should be getting punished for it, is it really changing the overall outcome of who's up for eviction much? Deana and Lydia are up this week which in my opinion was going to be the obvious result whether they were allowed to discuss it or not!?


With regards to Connor's comments about Deana last night, well, they were pretty shocking and I do believe Big Brother should have dealt with this matter more seriously. Yes, Deana was rather annoying when she was making a total fuss about having to eat a bit of ham in the task (compared to other housemates having to eat dog food, rotten eggs, etc, you get the drift...) but in the aftermath of the task she was clearly getting 'ganged-up on' and there really was no excuse for Connor's outburst.


I look forward to seeing if Big Brother will decide to take any further action against the above incidents in tonight's show...

Lauren Goodger has a night out with Katie Price

Looks like the tabloid's favourite Katie Price has taken troubled Lauren Goodger under her wing. The pair were hanging out in Liverpool last night and Katie tweeted this pic with the caption:


"Having dinner with @Laurengoodger .. Such a good night drinks and laughter x"

Wouldn't they look nicer if they just smiled like everyone else?

It's not the first time the girls have been spotted out on the town together. They were snapped on a night out last year looking very shiny and even exchanged a steamy snog! (That wasn't for attention though.)

Am I the only person who thinks Lydia is quite bug-like? She's ever so twitchy and the way she darts from one group to another poisoning the minds of fellow housemates on her travels kinda reminds me of an irritating gnat on holiday.

I mean you've gotta hand it to her she's a great game player but I'm sure she'll be up for eviction next week as the other housemates are starting to cotton on to her ways.

I was quite glad to see Benedict get evicted on Friday. He was a good character but I must admit I was starting to find him quite uncomfortable to watch. And really was there any need for the whole swinging round on his chair performance as he came out? Mind you, we should be thankful he didn't given us a different kind of performance I guess...

I'm still loving Caroline. I think she is hilarious! Yes she is a bit immature and over-giggly at times but, in the words of Tulisa, she's young!!

Frankie and Cher finally get a make-over

Ex-X-Factor stars Frankie Cocozza and Cher Lloyd have each opted for classier new hairdo's to smarten up their image.


Frankie's decided to kiss goodbye to his iconic 'mop' of a style whilst Cher has ditched her crazy half-shaved-half-long look.


The youngsters haven't really helped themselves since their stints on X-Factor what with accusations of drug taking and rows with former mentors but it seems the pair are finally starting to 'grow up'.

Sam Faiers and Joey Essex new reality show

Sam Faiers and Joey Essex are rumoured to be planning their own spin-off show which they hope will be aired on ITV2. The show which has been likened to the series Katie Price and Peter Andre used to have will mean an end to the couple's contracts with TOWIE so could potentially be a make or break for the pair. If it's anything like the shows Amy Child's and Mark Wright have brought out I can't help thinking it will be the latter...

Let's hope Joey and Sam's show doesn't have the same ending...

I must say, I think Mark Wright's show was slightly better on Sunday night than the first episode. It seemed a little less staged and I did find it slightly amusing in places! However there was no need for that Oscar winning performance at the end when Mark's friend (I don't know what his name is) was 'really upset' and was 'going to go home'. Good job trusty old good-guy Mark was there to 'talk him round'. Aww.

So this week we've got creepy Benedict and husky-voiced Lauren up for eviction. Who do we reckon it's going to be? Benedict is making the others feel more and more uncomfortable with the on-going discussion of his shower antics whilst Lauren seems to be the hot subject of the other girls bitch-fests. Personally, I'd rather keep Benedict in. I'm intrigued to see what other 'tricks' he has up his sleeve for the viewers. That's not to say I would feel happy about being locked up in a house with him mind...

New TOWIE cast member...?

A twitter user is claiming he is going to be a new character in The Only Way Is Essex.

"Robbie (cookie-Lad)" @EssexLadRobbie tweeted hundreds of people saying: "Hey :) im going to be in the 2013 series of #TOWIE an would love all the support i can get so can i get a #followforafollow"


When asked why/how he was going to be in the show he replied: "well im gonna be the newbie on the block hehe they need a new gay on there and that is me ;D xo"


Hmm, not sure that last statement is strictly true but we all love a new character so let's wait and see if he does appear!

I notice Lydia Bright has had another new haircut. It seems this just girl can't stick to the same style for more than five minutes without changing it again! When you think back to the frumpy, stroppy, pig-loving girlfriend of Arg from series 1 it's astonishing to see how much she's changed.

Loved the TOWIE Marbs-special this week! Mario's big proposal didn't come as a great surprise seeing as it had been all over the papers days before hand, but it was kinda sweet all the same (I guess). So I'm guessing from the scene with Gemma and Arg there actually never was any real romance between the pair?? I thought Gemma looked absolutely fab when she confronted Arg but OMG was it cringey...

I was quite glad to see squeaky Chris evicted from BB last night. He really was a doughnut (and probably enjoyed a few) although I wonder whether boring Arron will be the best person to stay in entertainment-wise... We'll see.

Jodie Marsh wins American bodybuilding comp

So you've probably seen the latest photos of Jodie Marsh bronzed up to the max and taking part in body building competitions again. This time winning the Womans Fit Body category at the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation in America.


There seem to be a lot of mixed views concerning Jodie's latest past time (and somewhat spectacular new look). Some are slating her for 'looking like a freak' and this just being 'yet another publicity stunt' (remember her reality show 'Who'll take Jodie Marsh up the aisle'...?) whilst others are congratulating her on achieving this quite remarkable feat.


I am of the opinion that for someone like Jodie who has very publicly talked about her history of depression and who's had a pretty turbulent relationship with the press for the last decade, she should be proud for finally finding her path to happiness.


Ok so the extreme tan and beefy muscles may not be for everyone, but she's clearly worked incredibly hard and I would imagine she must be in pretty good health too so who are we to slate her?

I loved Lauren Pope's tweet yesterday about the Essex lingo. She said:


"'Shaaaaa' mixture of 'shut up' and 'shit'. My brain cld'nt decide which one i wanted to say so that sound come out my mouth instead!"

I'm sure there'll be plenty more where that comes from in the Marbs' special tonight!


I'm also looking forward to seeing what's going on with the Gemma and Arg situation. I along with most others presumed that the whole declaration of love at the end of the last series was set up purely for our entertainment. However Arg tweeted this on Monday:

What a drama filled first week it's been in the BB house!


Last Friday we saw Victoria get the boot and I must say I was gutted. I think with time Victoria would have been a good character to have in there. However, the awfully irritating Lydia has helped fuel a lot of the drama that's been going on in the last few days so in terms of making good telly, she hasn't let us down.


Up for eviction this week are Arron and Chris and I couldn't have asked for two better candidates! I think it's going to be a close call and a lot will depend on how these two come across between now and Friday night.


Will Chris get drunk and have more 'jekyll and hyde' moments (his words)? Will Arron continue to 'rebel' by breaking the rules?


Let's watch and find out!

New TV show for Peter Andre

Cheesy family favourite Peter Andre will be fronting a new show called 'Peter Andre's Bad Boyfriend Club' (oh dear...). A statement released today on ITV's twitter said:


"ITV2 are looking for boyfriends that need to raise their game. It's time the boys stopped taking their girlfriends for granted and if your relationship is suffering Pete is ready and waiting to help!"

Oh gosh Jermaine Defoe already has another poor victim/girlfriend on the go. He only split from Alexandra Burke five minutes ago after he was caught cheating with a string of girls behind her back. Now it seems Chloe Green (ex Made In Chelsea girl) has been reeled in by the serial love-rat! God help her.

Ollie wouldn't  have cheated, well not with another girl anyway...

Jessica Wright's releasing a single and she's just been filming the video. Where? Marbella of course! She has also released a sneak preview of the song. It's not as bad as I was expecting. Could be a catchy 'holiday song' to frolic around to in the sun, though the lyrics are a bit dodge: "... dance all night... kick off ma jimmies and feel alright..."

Cor this series sure has started with a bang! 

The main focus so far seems to be on Lydia's diva strops and Luke's confessions. 


Lydia HAS to be out tonight, no? Surely it's not fair coz she should have been on the celebrity Big Brother?? *holds in giggles*


I felt for Luke when he was worried about telling his housemates his secret. HOWEVER, he knew exactly what he was putting himself up for by going on national TV and therefore cannot be shy of being the center of attention.
